PHILOSOPHY AND WRITING

'I write because I love to write': while writing, the writer often becomes quite conscience about his 'philosophy'. Is it true? Sometimes not or rather may be he is always consciously making an effort to showcase his 'philosophy'.

But the portrayal of one's 'philosophy' through ones's 'writing' and on top of that, when the reader decodes the 'writing'. In a way, the reader decifers each and every alphabet of the writing. Here comes the Semiotics or rather in the words of Gabrielle Almond "..... ascertive disassociation one's philosophy through constructive sassociation of one's philosophy...". Here semiotics with structural functionalism plays a major role- "I love apples". The image of pple can be red or green in the readers's mind, whereas might be the philosophy of the writer does not permit the reader to imagine a specific kind of apple.
Disassociation of one's work from his own 'philosophy' is quite a difficult task. From reader's point of view making two components : 'philosophy and writing' is very well reflected in David Easton's essay on 'Disassociative Structure'- where he comments- "... constructive disassociation of philosophy is the destructive association of structural materiaism".

None the less 'philosophy' will stay as "... destructive composition of ideas..."- Sassaure, and 'writing' will stay as "... assertive volume of ideas..."- not seperable from "... deductive composition"- Sassaure.
