CITY WORMS

Abandoned city,
I stroll on by,
I turn my head,
To the blood red sky,
The city of worms,
They always said,
If it is willed, I shall be dead,
The city of worms,
They always said,
I stand here now,
Among the dead,
Screams of terror,
Screams of fear,
I stroll on by,
Its now so clear,
The city is dead,
They always say,
But here I am,
In the light of day,
A dark cloud swirls,
It rolls on by,
The dead look up,
Towards the sky,
They raise their hands,
Screaming to be free,
But all is lost,
when they see me.

LOVE

A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.
Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the foldLike silken thread
it holds us fastBonds like this are meant to last.
And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strongIn a special world,
where we belong.
